The modern workplace is Microsoft's answer to how businesses actually operate now: teams split between the office and home, files that need to be shared securely, and meetings that happen over video as often as across a desk.
Built on Microsoft 365, it brings your Office apps, email, files, chat and phone-quality meetings into one platform. Documents live in SharePoint and OneDrive rather than on one person's hard drive. Teams replaces the endless reply-all chains — and with Teams Calling it can replace your desk phones as well. Identity and device controls keep company data safe even when someone's working from a cafe on their own laptop.

Can you migrate us from an old server or Google Workspace?
Yes. Solution Squad migrates email, calendars, contacts and files to Microsoft 365 from on-premises servers, Google Workspace and older hosted platforms. Migrations are planned around your working hours to minimise downtime, and we verify everything has arrived before the old system is switched off.
Is Microsoft 365 secure enough for business data?
Microsoft 365 is secure enough for business data when it's configured properly — the platform is strong, but out-of-the-box settings leave gaps. We set up multi-factor authentication, conditional access and sharing controls, and we recommend a separate backup of your Microsoft 365 data. Security comes down to configuration, which is exactly what we manage.
Do we still need to back up Microsoft 365?
Yes, we recommend backing up Microsoft 365 separately. Microsoft keeps the service running but offers limited retention if a file is deleted, overwritten or hit by ransomware. An independent backup of your email, SharePoint and OneDrive data gives you longer retention, faster recovery and cover for the scenarios Microsoft's own tools don't handle.
What does Teams give us beyond video calls?
Teams brings chat, meetings, file sharing and app integrations into one workspace, so conversations and documents stay together by project or department instead of scattering across inboxes. With Teams Calling added, Teams can also replace your office phone system, so staff make and take business calls from the same app on any device.
